Welcome to Maji Wells

Our Vision is to end the water crisis in remote villages of the developing countries, that will give ways for sustainable health, agriculture and women empowerment.

Maji, is a Swahili word, that means water in English.

Our Why

In our villages, women walk more than 18 miles per day just to fetch water and yet are not clean and safe for human use.

Today approximately 771 million people around the world still do not have access to clean and safe water.

We Need Your Support

Goals for 2024 to expand access to clean water to 7000+ Maasai with reduced need to walk 9 hr. per day to fetch water.
We’re here to support people in need!

Our Projects

Maboma Clean Water Project

The project will focus to bring clean water to "Maboma" (household) in Monduli Villages and help women and girls to have more hours to concentrate in other income generating activities and education.

Vijiji BiCarbon Project

Africa’s renowned agricultural heritage is a significant source of economic growth and tourism appeal. However, producing maize and other products also generates large amounts of waste, typically burned, resulting in CO2 emissions.

Health Projects

In partnership with local organizations and community health facilities, Maji Wells uses a Community Health Worker model to promote well-being for marginalized communities in Rural Africa.
