Health Projects

Background

Marginalized communities in Rural Africa have limited access to clinical providers and supplies

In partnership with local organizations and community health facilities, Maji Wells uses a Community Health Worker model to promote well-being for marginalized communities in Rural Africa. Our team does this through mobile medical outreach to the last mile and a Community Health Worker model. Our local team travels by complex roads and walks miles to provide vital health services in remote areas where access to healthcare is a major challenge.

The villages outreach is conducted in weekly basis by reaching one of the remotest villages and provides healthcare services for communities’ members, from providing for immunization to children under 5 years Olds, HIV test, Blood Sugar, and pressure check for old people, providing basic healthcare education and awareness outreach.
